Xinjiang is the biggest cotton base in China as well as one of the key parts in the “One Belt One Road” policy of the Government. In order to support the development of textile industry in Xinjiang and provide all-around services for the customers in Northwest China, Rieter sets a new Sales & Service center in Urumqi. On April 28, 2016, Xinjiang Rieter Textile Instruments Co., Ltd held its grand opening ceremony.
The distinguished guests including Rieter’s partners and customers, leaders from the People’s Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and leaders of the China National Textile and Apparel Council were present at the ceremony. “The establishment of Xinjiang Rieter Textile Instruments Co., Ltd is not only aimed at serving our customers, but also fully supporting the development of the textile industry in Xinjiang”, noted Dr. Norbert Klapper, the CEO of Rieter Group.

Localization strategies of Rieter
