ITMA ASIA + CITME 2016 will be held on October 21-25, 2016 in the new National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

According to the show owners, CEMATEX, China Textile Machinery Association, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT-Tex) and China Exhibition Centre Group Corporation (CIEC), since it was launched in 2008, ITMA ASIA + CITME has been the leading marketing platform for textile machinery manufacturers seeking to tap the China market.

Gu Ping, vice chairman of China Textile Machinery Association said, “The 2014 edition of the combined show was a great success. It occupied 13 exhibition halls of Shanghai New International Exposition Center, with exhibition space exceeding 150,000 square meters and it attracted about 1,600 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions and more than 100,000 visitors, 20% of which came from abroad. The upcoming ITMA ASIA + CITME show will move to New International Exhibition and Convention Center in Hongqiao, Shanghai, which has an indoor exhibition space of more than 180,000 square meters.

Up to now, domestic exhibitor registrations have surpassed 80% of the last edition and near 30% of them participate in the show for the first time. Meanwhile, the overseas registrations have also exceeded 70% of the last edition. The space application will close on February 29, 2016. It is predicted that the scale of the show will be further enlarged.
