According to the General Administration of Customs, China imported 85,000 tons of cotton in November, registered an increase of 42,000 tons or up 100.7% compared to October; and a drop of 8,000 tons or down 8.3% from a year earlier.

From September to November, China’s cotton import totaled 178,000 tons, down 40.24% from a year earlier. The import in January-October period totaled over 1.28 million tons, down 44.83% year-on-year.
