According to the development and reform commission of Xiangyang City in central China’s Hubei Province, six cotton spinning projects, each costs more than CNY 100 million, ran into production in the second quarter of this year.

These six projects are: the combing-compact spinning project of Hubei Xinguoyuan Cotton Textile Co., Ltd., which includes 80,000 square meters of new workshop building and associated facilities and a new combing-compact spinning line; the 35,000-spindle compact spinning project of Hubei Etai Textile Co., Ltd., which substitutes existing 35,000 spindles ring-spinning machines and carding machines with newly-purchased 136 sets of new machines including blowing-carding range, auto-leveler, automatic winding machine, air-conditioning system, roving frame with automatic doffing system and compact-spinning machines; the 50,000-spindle compact spinning project of Xiangyang Hongtaiyuan Textile Co., Ltd., which includes new workshop buildings, storage house and multiple-use building as well as 50,000-spindle compact spinning lines and associated equipment; the 50,000-spindle rotor-spinning project of Nanzhang Jiahao Textile Co., Ltd., which includes 28,000 square meters of workshop building and associated facilities and 104 spinning machines; the 100,000-spindle ring-spinning project of Xiangyang Gangke Home-textiles Co., Ltd., which includes 59,480 square meters of newly-expanded building space and 233 sets of new machines; the shoe-making project of Hubei Shalei Shoes Co., Ltd., which include four newly-installed shoe-making lines.
