A new viscose staple production line with annual output of 100,000 tons was recently put into operation in Yinbin Grace Group Co., Ltd. in China's southwest Sichuan Province. The key equipment and machines from solution preparation to spinning and refining and acid station as well as the after-treatment line are all supplied by Hi-tech Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. They include a 4,000 mm-wide refining range and a 3,800 mm-wide drying range; the large-capacity xanthating drum and pressing machine as well as the 14 flash evaporators of the acid station. All these equipment and machines are independently developed and represent the most advanced technological level of viscose fiber industry. The entire line is DCS-controlled and featured by low initial investment, low energy consumption, high safety and reliability and wide adaptability. Compared to two 50,000-t/a lines, it can reduce about 20% of the investment in workshop and equipment and save 30% of labor and energy consumption.
