Fuli Zhenlun Cotton Spinning Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xinjiang Fulida Fiber Co., Ltd., recently announced that it plans to build a 2 million-spindle spinning project in Xinjiang Korla Economic and Technological Development Zone. The project will cost a total investment of CNY 4 billion. It consists of 19 workshops, 8 for rotor-spinning, 4 for vortex-spinning and 7 for ring- (compact-) spinning.

According to its plan, the company will begin to construct twelve workshops in 2015, finish the construction of eight workshops and put three workshops into operation in the same year; it will begin to construct the left seven workshops in 2016, finish the construction of eight workshops and put nine workshops into operation; and it will finish the construction of three workshops and put seven workshops into operation in 2017. The investment in 2015, 2016 and 2017 will be CNY 800 million, CNY 2.5 billion and CNY 700 million respectively.

Upon the completion of the entire project, the company will have an annual production capacity for 300,000 tons of various high-quality yarns including differential viscose yarn, viscose/cotton blended yarn and high-count pure cotton yarn.

The company said that a series of favorable policies announced by local governments since October 2014 have brought unprecedented opportunities to cotton textile enterprises and the company's new project adapts to the developing trend of local textile industry.
