Recently, Anhui Rifa Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. held an inauguration ceremony in Ma’anshan Intelligent Textile Machinery Industrial Park in Anhui Province for celebrating the completion of its first-phase project of “Rifa Intelligent Textile Machinery R&D and Manufacturing Base”.

With a planned total investment of CNY 1 billion and land coverage of 66.7 hectares, the project is a milestone for Rifa to realize the strategy of “upgrading manufacturing level, improving innovation and management capability and promoting industry upgrading”.

In the first phase of the project, a 90,000-square meter workshop building and a 3,500-square meter production service building as well as associated logistics and storage facility, product inspection facility and IT-based office building have been set up on a land area of 20 hectares.

The project is planned to set up R&D and manufacturing facility for Rifa’s smart twisting, spinning and knitting machinery. Upon the completion of the entire project, it will form an annual production capacity for 7,000 sets of machines, realize sales revenue of CNY 1.5 billion and pre-tax profit of CNY 180 million and offer more than 600 jobs.

The project laid foundation stone on March 1, 2014 and was put into trial run in 2014. The first batch of 41 two-for-one twisters were delivered to customers on January 5, 2015.
