Related data show that in the first ten months of this year, above-scale garment enterprises in Shandong Province produced more than 2.49 billion pieces of garment, down 0.02% from a year earlier. Since July, the growth rate stopped the declining trend. In this period, the sales revenue of above-scale garment enterprises grew 11.22% year-on-year to CNY 185.74 billion, 2.64 percentage points faster than the national average.

However, the whole-year development shows evident downward trend and enterprises see unoptimistic economic benefits. In January-October, above-scale garment enterprises earned pre-tax profits of about CNY 17.66 billion, up 11.59% year-on-year, including total profits of CNY 11.13 billion, up 7.07%. The total pre-tax profits show moderate recovery at the end of year.
