Textile Industry"s November PPI Down 1.5%

China"s producer price index (PPI), which measures inflation at wholesale level, dropped 2.7% year-on-year and 0.5% month-on-month in November, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Dec. 10. Meanwhile, the purchasing prices of industrial producers dropped 3.2% year-on-year and 0.7% month-on-month.

The average factory-gate prices in January-November declined 1.8% year-on-year and while the purchasing prices declined 2.0%.

The ex-factory prices of textile industry dropped 1.5% year-on-year in November and the ex-factory prices of textile garment and accessories industry edged up 0.1%.

In the ex-factory prices of industrial producers, the prices of production means dropped 3.5% year-on-year and the prices of consumer goods dropped 0.1%, in which, the prices of clothing goods rose 0.5%.

In the purchasing prices of industrial producers, the prices of textile raw materials dropped 1.8%.
