Industrial Value Added Output of Textile Industry Up 6.3% in Oct.

In October, China"s industrial value-added output of enterprises above designated size grew 7.7% year-on-year adjusted by inflation, decelerating 0.3 percentage points compared to September, the National Bureau of Statistics said. 39 out of 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth, in which the textile industry grew 6.3%. It grew 6.8%, 8.0% and 10.4% respectively in east, central and western regions.


The industrial value-added output rose 0.52% month-on-month in October and 8.4% year-on-year in Jan. – Oct. State-owned & state-holding enterprises saw 5.5-percent year-on-year growth, collective-run enterprises saw 1.6-percent decline, share-holding enterprises saw 9.1-precent growth, foreign-funded enterprises and those funded by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan saw 5.7-percent growth.
