China"s export of textile yarn, fabric and made-up goods grew 4.7% year-on-year in the first eight months of this year to US$ 73.36 billion and the export of garment and accessories rose 6.4% to near US$ 120 billion, according to the latest data of the General Administration of the Customs.

In January-August, China"s import of textile yarn, fabric and made-up goods totaled US$ 13.57 billion, down 5.2% from a year ago.
