Recently, a ceremony was held in Yinchuan, capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China, for celebrating the first-phase project of Ruyi industrial park being put into operation and the second-phase project breaking ground.

Ruyi industrial park, which is invested by Shandong Ruyi Group, is located in Ningxia Eco-friendly Textile Industry Demonstration Park.

Ningxia Eco-friendly Textile Industry Demonstration Park is named by the government as "No. 2 project", which is planned to build a modern eco-friendly and intensive textile industrial basis based on the production of colored polyester fiber which covers the industry chain from color-spinning and weaving to the production of garment, home-textiles, decorative products and technical textiles and forge a circular economic system incorporating enterprises, industrial communities, industrial park and scenery park and a state-level pilot park of eco-friendly textile industry. It is expected to offer 150,000 jobs and realize a gross value of industrial output up to CNY 250 billion.

The first-phase project of Ruyi industrial park includes 10 modern workshop buildings, in which, the 120,000 spindles are being installed in No.1 workshop, another 120,000 spindles in the No. 2 workshop have been put into production and 100,000 color-spinning spindles will be installed in No. 4 workshop. It is expected that four spinning projects with a total installed capacity of 700,000 spindles will be put into trial run by the end of this year. All the equipment is based on worldwide state-of-the-art technologies.

During the ceremony, Mr. Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China National Textile and Apparel Council said that in the new long march of China"s economic development, the textile industry shoulders new historical missions. The operation of the first-phase project and the ground-breaking of the second-phase project of Ruyi industrial park is a hallmark event in the development of Ningxia"s local economy and also the benchmark for the integration of Ruyi"s own development with local economy and the restructuring of textile industry, it will play important role in optimizing the distribution of textile industry and turning the industry from a big producer to a powerful player in the global textile industry.
