Statistics of the General Administration of the Customs show that China imported near 49.52 million meters of cotton fabric in June, down 12.97% month-on-month and 17.1% year-on-year. In June, China exported 661.12 million meters of cotton fabric, down 12.08% month-on-month and down 17.01% year-on-year.

From September 2013 to June 2014, China"s import of cotton fabric reduced by 12.41% year-on-year to 592.81 million meters. In the same period, China"s export of cotton fabric totaled 6.99 billion meters, down 4.97%.

In the first six months of this year, China imported 339.74 million meters of cotton fabric, down 12.25% year-on-year and exported 4.00 billion meters of cotton fabric, down 12.47%.
