China"s on-line garment shopping trade volume is expected to grow 41.5% year-on-year to reach CNY 615.3 billion in 2014, accounting for 22.1% of the national on-line shopping market, according to a forecast recently released by China E-commerce Research Center.
In 2013, garment as well as shoes & hats covered the highest share (76.3%) of on-line sales and this share is expected to surpass 80% in 2014. Featuring high demand and high repeat purchase rate, the on-line market for garment as well as shoes & hats is considered as the biggest potential market which is competed by e-commerce enterprises.
According to the forecast of China E-commerce Research Center, along with the rapid development of couch commerce, on-line garment shopping will be diversified to mobile terminals, meanwhile, on-line and off-line coordinated development will be one of the dominant trends of garment e-commerce market. In addition, customized service will arose more attention of garment e-marketers.
