Hubei: Special Subsidy Funds for Supporting Transformation and Upgrading of Competitive Industries

The Hubei Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology will allocate special subsidy funds to support the transformation and upgrading of local competitive industries including textile industry.

For spinning and weaving sector, the special subsidy funds will be mainly provided to support the upgrading and reform of compact-spinning and siro-spinning lines with capacity more than 50,000 spindles; the development and production of multi-component composite blended yarn; the technical reform or expansion projects using new spinning technologies such as air jet-spinning, vortex spinning and automatic rotor spinning technologies; projects using wide or extra-wide shuttle-less looms for weaving high-count-density fabric or jacquard fabric; projects for the promotion and application of cotton, wool and bast fiber embedded spinning technology; technical reform projects for using high-performance fibers to produce filtering and technical textiles.

For the garment and home-textiles sector, the special subsidy funds will be mainly provided to support the projects of backbone enterprises who have own brands and who use automatic and intelligent production lines to industrialize their patented new products; and projects using automatic and intelligent production lines to produced high value-added, protective and environment-friendly garment.

For the printing and dyeing sector, the special subsidy funds will be mainly provided to support projects based on high-efficient short pre-treatment process, bio-enzyme desizing process, bio-enzyme refining process, and cold-pad batch pre-treatment process; cold-pad batch dyeing of open-width knitted fabric; R & D and application of high-performance innovative textile auxiliaries.
