China"s export of textiles and garment rose 11.45% to US$ 18.63 billion in March, said the General Administration of the Customs on April 10.

The export of textiles amounted to US$ 8.28 billion, up 10.4% year-on-year; the export of garment stood at US$ 10.35 billion, up 12.3%. The export of textiles and garment totaled US$ 58.12 billion in the first quarter of this year, edged up slightly by 0.4% year-on-year. The export of textiles totaled US$ 23.03 billion, up 2.1%, garment US$ 35.09 billion, down 0.6%.
