Statistics of China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textiles show that China's garment export registered a year-on-year growth of 12% in the first ten months of this year, higher than expected. In this period, China's garment export to ASEAN increased dramatically by 42%.
Meanwhile, China's garment export to EU and the United States grow respectively 9.2% and 6.4% while the export to Japan dropped slightly by 0.2%.
Industry experts suggest that export-oriented enterprises should on one hand increase the export of value-added and branded products to improve economic benefits and on the other hand invest abroad, so as to integrate channel and brand with relevant resources on the world market and improve the competitiveness of textile industry.
