Recently, China Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. (CTM) launched its G6500F jacquard towel loom on the domestic market. The localization rate of this new rapier loom is up to 80%.
G6500 towel loom is developed by combining introduced technology with localized key parts such as side panel and frame. Thanks to the changing reed stroke driven by servo motor, the yarn is subject to very low tension, and this plays important role in improving productivity and machine quality and enlarging pattern selection range. By using dynamic terry control and other electronic devices, the terry height is freely programmable for weaving fabric with varied terry height. By using different terry weaving processes and dynamic terry control, terry fabric with complicate patterns such as wave and relief motifs can be woven.
It is reported that China Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. is facilitating the localization of G6500 terry loom and the first batch of 20 sets of such machine is under production and expected to launch on the market soon.
