The Commercial Bureau and the Financial Bureau of Sha'anxi Province jointly sent out a circular on allocating special fund for supporting the development of local cocoon silk industry in 2014. Enterprises involving in production, promotion and research of cocoon silk will benefit from this circular and each project can obtain a subsidy of CNY 700,000 at maximum.

It is reported the amount of subsidy varies depending on different projects: for energy-saving and emission-reducing or technical reform projects of silk reeling and weaving enterprises, the subsidy for each project will not exceed CNY 700,000; for brand establishment and market exploitation projects of cocoon silk industry, the subsidy for each project will not exceed CNY 500,000; for projects relating to comprehensive application, promotion of advanced sericulture technology and supporting big silkworm-raising villages or households as well as those relating to the transformation of research achievements and promotion of basic research, each project can obtain a subsidy of no more than CNY 300,000.
