The Economic Construction Department of the Ministry of Finance recently called on implementing trade policies that are favorable for increasing competitiveness of industries and improving export rebate policy. For major export-oriented industries such as ship-building industry and textile industry, it suggests moderately increase the export rebate rate, so as to reduce the costs of producers.

It suggests that in the coming years, the state should improving policies for the processing trade, transfer industries to a higher level, develop local sub-supplying system and upgrade domestic industries; meanwhile, it should guide enterprises to establish overseas marketing network, improve independent marketing ability and positively open up non-conventional export markets. Moreover, it should improve import and export taxation system and improve export credit insurance polity and support the export of technology-intensive, knowledge-intensive and deeply-processed products and complete-set equipment of key industries.
