In the first five months of this year, the textile industry in Jiangxi Province operated well, with major textile enterprises (or those with annual sales revenue more than CNY 20 million) producing an industrial value added of CNY 13.5 billion, up 25.2% year-on-year; generating a prime business revenue of CNY 55 billion, up 21% and earning pre-tax profit of CNY 4.82 billion, up 30.3% year-on-year, including a profit of CNY 3.2 billion, up 35.9% year-on-year.
