By the end of September, there are about 9,000 garment producers in Henan Province. Last year, local garment producers sold about 650 million pieces of garment. Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan Province has become one of the 16 leading production bases for ladies´trousers.

Responsible person from the provincial garment association said that at present, there are more than 2,000 trousers producers in Zhengzhou. A number of brands have become famous in China. Zhengzhou has become the largest production and circulation base for ladies´ trousers and one of the important production bases for men´s trousers.

Besides Zhengzhou, other cities have also developed into famous garment production bases including Anyang for knitted goods and Guangshan for down coat. In addition, a number of new garment production bases are emerging, including Zhoukou, Shangqiu and Xinyang, who are getting prepared for taking over the relocation of textile industry from coastal areas.
