The national standards for "Raised Woven Substrate for Synthetic Leather" (GB/T28462-2012) drafted by Fujian Fiber Inspection Bureau recently has been approved and released by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the Standardization Administration of China and will become effective as of December 1, 2012.
Raised woven substrate is one of the major materials for producing synthetic leather and also an important industrial textile.
The new standards classify raised woven substrate according to thickness and downstream leather producing process and define major index of properties such as thickness, capillary effect, breaking strength, tearing strength, fastness to water, fastness to perspiration, fastness to dry abrasion and AZO dyes.
