The Baby´s Wear Criterion, released by National Development and Reform Commission of China, will put into practice on October 1st this year. This is the first national eco-friendly clothing standard for baby between 0-2 years old. Considering the soft skin of babies, the pH value set to between 4.0-7.5, compared to 4.0-9.0 of the adult clothing. Besides, the label of baby clothing should write "no dry wash", because the dry cleaning agent may have some substance bad to baby´s skin.

The Criterion prescribe the terms and descriptions of baby´s wear, as well as the specification, requirments, testing method, inspection, category, label, pacakge, transport and stock.

According to the National Primary Security and Technology Criterion of Textile, the baby´s wear is classified as Product A, for which there are more strict requirments in color fastness, ph value, formaldehyde, dye stuff, as so on.
