With subjects as diverse as insulation, filtration, apparel and nanofibres, the 2006 International Nonwovens Technical Conference (INTC), which takes place from September 25-28, 2006 in Houston, Texas, will once again focus on new and advancing technologies in nonwovens and engineered fabrics.

Co-sponsored by INDA and TAPPI, the technical association of the pulp and paper industry, INTC 2006 is expected to attract more than 400 industry professionals from around the world for four days of technical sessions, committee meetings, awards and networking.

“INTC is the one meeting every year that brings together the technical community from both INDA and TAPPI. says INDA president Rory Holmes. “The INTC 2006 committee, headed by chairperson Mary Pierce, has put together an unparalleled conference program and I strongly urge any member of the nonwovens and engineered fabrics industry to attend.”

Conference sessions will cover apparel, binders and additives, building and industrial mats, filtration, flammability, hand and appearances, hydroentangling, insulation, nanofibers, polymers and fibers, process technologies, protective materials, spunmelt processes and meltblown products, and surface enhancements.
