After reaching seasonal highs over the last two weeks, China’s Keqiao Textile Index drifted lower during the week of June 2, pulled lower by every component aside from home textiles. The raw materials component saw its steepest decline in the history of the year-old index, down -5.5% from last week’s near-term high. Grey fabric also decreased from last week’s record, easing -0.3%. Apparel fabric and accessories also slipped for the week, down -1.0% and -1.2%, respectively. The home textile price component managed the only increase, rising 0.25 on the week.
