Sourced from a Vietnam Textile Association report on Nov.29th in Vietnam Investment Review, after Vietnam officially accessed to the WTO, many Chinese textile enterprises have shown strong interest in Vietnam market and intent to invest there.

The report quoted the comment of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) saying there are lots of similarities between China and Vietnam and Chinese textile industry has experience in dealing with the current difficulties faced by Vietnam, so it is necessary for both countries to cooperate with each other to display their own strength. Now China is establishing new types of textile enterprises such as high-tech, high efficient, energy economy, and environment friendly and labor-intensive enterprises. The textile enterprises invested by China in Vietnam will also follow the same standards.

As reported, Vietnam Textile Association has required their textile enterprises to learn Chinese pattern in that this pattern has brought very positive effects to Chinese textile industry.
