Mr. Liao Xiaoqi, China´s Vice Minister of Commerce, and Mr. Tor Christian Hildan, Norway´s Ambassador to China, singed Memorandum of Understanding on the Recognition of China´s full market economy status in Beijing on March 26. Norway declared the recognition of China´s full market economy status and to provide fair treatment for Chinese enterprises in trade.

China highly appraised Norway´s recognition. Since Norway is one of the most important trading partners of China in Europe, China believed that such action will deepen bilateral trade ties and create a more fair, stable and harmonious environment, which in turn pushes deeper cooperation of enterprises between the two countries in a broader field and make benefit for the enterprises and peoples. China is willing to, jointly with Norway, keep developing economic cooperation field and realizing mutual benefit and prosperity.
