Apparel Exports to U.S. Reach 9.653 Billion USD in First Half 2007 (08/27/2007)

China has shipped 9.653 billion U.S. dollars worth of apparel exports to the U.S. during the first six months of 2007, which represented a 45.98 percent year-on-year increase and a 29.2 percent market share of all imports. China has taken market share from Mexico, India, Hong Kong, CAFTA, Canada, Taiwan, South Korea and others. Cotton apparel exports soared 75.49 percent to 5.1149 billion U.S. dollars, while MMF apparel exports grew 44.17 percent to 3.103 billion U.S. dollars.
