Very low volatility is continuing in China´s domestic textile prices, with the exception of fiber prices. Cotton, polyester and rayon fibers are still experiencing significant movement. Cotton prices have fallen approximately 1,000 yuan per ton over the past 30 days. Polyester staple fiber was up last week, gaining 130 yuan per ton to average near 11,430 yuan or approximately 68.89 U.S. cents per pound. Rayon staple fiber increased 400 yuan per ton during the week to 21,300 yuan. Most yarn prices showed little movement.
