China´s cotton import volume declined to 137,000 tons in October, which was down from 234,500 tons in September; however, imports were up 61.2 percent from year-ago volume. January through October cumulative cotton import volume dropped 37.22 percent from year-ago levels to reach 2,036,300 tons.
