A 300kt/yr industrial superfine fiber project, in charge of Jiangsu Huaya Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd, will be located in Yixin, Jiangsu province. The project has a total construction area of 61,000 square meters and is designed to use directly-melt-spinning technology to produce 200kt/yr superfine-denier differentiated fiber and functionalized fiber, and 100kt/yr high-modulus & low-shrinkage fiber for industrial use. It is reported that the total investment stands at 1 billion yuan and the construction will be finished by 2010.
