The office of Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell has announced that Orwigsburg, Pa.-based custom clothing manufacturer H.H. Fessler Knitting Co. Inc. will receive a $1.6 million loan from the state of Pennsylvania to renovate its 152,000-square-foot plant. The project, representing a total investment of $5.4 million, is sponsored by the Schuylkill Economic Development Corp., and will add 20 jobs to Fessler´s current workforce of 66.

Fessler was founded in 1900. Its customers include Michael Stars Inc., Nordstrom Inc. and Urban Outfitters.
