The 839 million yuan carbon fiber project recently invested by Sinosteel Jiangcheng Carbon Fiber Co., Ltd. is located in Jilin Economic Development Zone, carrying forward the construction of Jilin’s carbon fiber production base. It is reported that the province has kicked off construction of its five carbon fiber projects (each invested by more than 30 million yuan) since the beginning of this year. After the completion of those five projects, Jilin is expected to become the largest production base of carbon fiber around China.
