To help propel the Italian textile industry export, upgrade and reinforce the international competence of its textile products as well as services, Italian economic development deputy minister Adolfo Urso and Italian Textile Association president Giuseppe Polli recently signed an agreement backing up textile industry development, according to the latest report of ANSA. Italy textile industry covers more than 550 companies, hiring more than 15 thousand people and is the unquestionably predominant industry. In the year 2008, exportation value reaches 0.46 billion euros which is a 20% reduction in comparison with 2007.
