A bilateral investment symposium hosted by University of International Business and Economics and Taiwan Chung-hua Institution for Economic Research was held recently in Taipei. More than eighty textile representatives from the mainland and Taiwan made the attendance. Both parties are disposed to take further cooperative actions including R&D cooperation in hi-tech textile products, environmental-friendly products and other areas such as industrial products as well as fabric testing, personnel training and etc. International sale cooperation between Taiwan and mainland would further reinforce the worldwide textile competency of China textile industry and therefore the government policy would be moderately more favorable concerning bilateral cooperation.
