Jilin Petrochemical Corporation is currently designated as National carbon fiber technology engineering center.

Carbon fiber is one type of special fiber with small specific gravity, super-high strength, excellent conductivity, remarkable high-temperature resistance and corrosion-resistance. On June, 14th, a carbon fiber technology engineering base with independent intellectual right is breaking ground in Jilin Petrochemical Corporation. For all these years, Jilin Petrochemical Corporation successfully overcame a series of technological barriers of carbon fiber and successfully realized the industrialization of carbon fiber manufacturing.
