November 9th, Chongqing Light Industry & Textile Holding (Group) Co., ltd signed an agreement with Hechuan district government, planning to invest three billion RMB to build the first textile industry park of the district. Chongqing Light Industry & Textile Holding (Group) Co., ltd is one of the eight manufacturing groups of Chongqing and ranks as the third largest national light industry manufacturing group. Hechuan is one of the major districts of Chongqing.

Textile industry is one of conventional pillar industries of Hechuan district and Hechuan is also the largest mulberry silkworm cultivation base of western area with abundant textile raw material resources and comparatively cheaper labor cost.

It is estimated that approximately three billion RMB will be invested to build the Chongqing textile industry park. One million square meters of factory buildings would be built with matched standard supporting equipments. The program plans to wrap up in the year 2013.
