Jilin Chemical Fiber Group Col., Ltd signed an investment agreement on Dec. 11th with the local government of Jiang’an county of Sichuan province. One subsidiary company Sichuan Tianzhu Bamboo Resource Development Co., ltd of this conglomerate will be relocated to a new industry park. Annual capacity will be projected to about 100 thousand tons of bamboo fiber pulp and 60 thousand tons staple fiber. Consolidated investment involved as much as 1.5 billion RMB.
Jilin Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd is a large-scale integrated conglomerate encompassing dozens of wholly-owned subsidiaries. Bamboo pulp is a kind of novel material to chemical fiber industry with relatively high added value. Market share of Tianzhu products is surpassing 90% becoming the leading brand of bamboo fiber industry. Jiang’an with its humid and warm climate is abundant with bamboo resource. Cooperation between these two parties will form a strategically important bamboo pulp manufacturing base of China. Program stage one would be invested in about 500 million RMB projecting to build 50 thousand tons of annual output.
