Municipal government of Jingzhou, Hubei province, encourages local textile companies to reinforce fixed asset investment and expand their current capacity in the year 2010. Jingzhou aspires to increase its capacity to around two million spindles and rank itself amongst the national cotton textile manufacturing bases. Other highlighted sectors including dyeing and finishing technology, garment-making, technical textiles and home textiles industry are also programmed to be strengthened. In the year 2011, over 100 dyeing and finishing production lines will be formed in the industrial development zone of Jingzhou. Local government will provide special subsidies to promote the industrial upgrade.
