Weiqiao Textile Group signed an agreement with Wuhan Institute of Science & Technology on Dec. 12th to establish a new textile technology research center. This center aims at clean production of textile, textile innovation, and the development of energy-saving and emission-reducing products. Textile science is a feature department in Wuhan Institute of Science & Technology. Xu Weilin, the vice President of this institute is a well-known expert in this industry. Weiqiao has become the largest cotton textile manufacturer in China and keep its investment in R&D in its 12 years history. The establishment of research center will be a platform for the commercialization of technology and results in a win-win situation.
