Textile products export saw substantial growth in December (02/04/2010)

Latest statistics unveiled by the General Administration of Customs evidenced that export of major textile products including yarns, fabrics, garments and accessories all have seen substantive upswing in December eliminating the export downturn shadow appeared in both October and November.

Overall exported value of above-mentioned textile products added up to 6.2 billion dollars in December, comparatively rose by 15.8% with last month which is the climax point of the year, although year-on-yearly declined by 8.4%.
February is the export nadir of yarns and fabrics with only 2.56 billion dollars of exportation value, which is also the unprecedented lowest value in recent years. In March, however, strong rebounding recovery started to emerge with 4.73 billion dollars of exported value, increased by a striking 84.6% as contrast to February. Holistically, the upswing momentum spirally maintained until December this year witnessing the zenith.
