Beijing´s GDP Increases 10.1% in 2009 (01/26/2010) 

According to preliminary accounting, Beijing has achieved a remarkable success in coping with the global financial crisis and its GDP reached RMB1.18659t in 2009, with an increase of 10.1% over the previous year, Guo Jinlong, Mayor of Beijing, said to the opening session of the Third Session of the Thirteen People´s Congress of Beijing Municipality on January 25.

Also, Beijing´s fiscal revenue last year reached RMB202.68b, up 10.3%. Urban resident´s per capita disposable income was RMB26, 738 and farmer´s per capita income was RMB11, 986, increasing by 9.7% and 13.4% respectively.
