For a long time being, the municipality of Xinjiang never ceased its enthusiasm to attract inland textile magnates to invest in Xinjiang. A blueprint has now been rolled out planning to reinforce the construction of two textile-focused cities, Seven textile industry parks and One int´ l textile business center. Specifically, two textile cities would be located in Shihezi and Aksu, seven textile industry parks are to be built in Kuitun, Korla, Kashi, Bo´ le, Hutubi, Shaya and Bachu, provincial seat of Xinjiang, Urumchi would become the int’l textile business center. "Our target this year is to attract two to four renowned textile companies to invest in Xinjiang." introduced Ms. LiuYanning, director of textile industry development of Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
Currently, nine highlighted projects were under construction and twenty new projects were kicked off. Xinjiang now encompasses more than twenty famous textile companies in which seventeen ranked amongst the Top 500 Textile Companies in China.
