After five years of unwavering R&D and millions of yuan of investment, the first Chinese domestically-made cold transfer printing machine was developed by a textile machinery company located in Shishi, Fujian province. The machine is now in the debugging period and is expected to be put into commercial production by the end of this year.

Cold transfer printing technology for cotton fabrics has completely overthrown the conventional printing method which is of high energy and water consumption, time-consuming, high cost and crude pattern. Over 60% to 70% of electric power, 50% of the manufacturing time could be saved by using cold transfer printing technology and the pattern definition is as fine as digital photos.

This set of cold transfer printing machine has both shortened the manufacturing process and widened the fabric width reaching up to 2.4 meters which is 0.6 to 0.8 meters wider than the current printing machines that Shishi´s companies are using.
