Although a large disparity still exists compared with internationally advanced countries, technical textiles industry is inarguably burgeoning as China’s most promising market with utmost potential. China’s 12th FYP and the new Restructuring and Revitalizing Guideline of China Textile Industry all mentioned to reinforce the development of technical textiles in the next few years.

According to the statistics released by China National Textile and Apparel Council, technical textiles in China maintained an annual growth of 18.6% in recent five years. Overall output of technical textiles totaled 7.232 million tons in 2009, rose by 19.2% compared with last year and indicated a very positive growing momentum. Technical textile industry is burgeoning as the most potential growth dimension.
