According to a recent survey conducted by an offshore Institution, China has undergone 44% - 65% of material upsurge from the yearend of the previous year. Various textile raw materials and yarns (including chemical materials) all witnessed substantial price increase. Amongst all chemical fiber materials, acrylic fiber has seen the most noticeable price increase reaching 80%.
Besides, the price of silk has reached the highest level of the recent 15 years. The price of cotton has witnessed 70% of price upsurge since November, 2008.
