According to the latest statistics released by Jiangxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, 5,968 batches of knitted garments valuing 260 million USD were exported as of June 30, which is 26.4% of export growth by batch and 25.9% of growth by value as compared with the same period of last year. Exported value in June is a 66.2% upsurge year-on-year.

As a labor-intensive industry, Jiangxi knitting industry was confronted with a multitude of adversities. The government of Jiangxi, in tandem with the Jiangxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau jointly helped out the knitting companies. A noticeable accomplishment was apparently achieved after all the efforts.
