According to the statistics from China Customs, cotton fabric export totaled 696 million square meters in July, up 2.36 percent from June and 36.36 percent year-on-year. Import totaled 75 million square meters, up 9.49 percent from July and 2.12 percent year-on-year. Net export registered 621 million square meters. As of the first seven months of 2010, cumulative cotton fabric export totaled 4.340 billion square meters, up 28.15 percent from the precedent year while import reached 470 mil square meters, down 7.17 percent year-on-year.
