Wen Jiabao Attended and Addressed the Opening Ceremony of Summer Davos Forum 2010 (2010/09/15)

The New Pioneers Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum 2010 (the fourth Summer Davos Forum) launched its opening ceremony in Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center on the afternoon of September 13, and Premier Wen Jiabao attended and addressed the opening ceremony, stressing that we shall organically combine the short-term macro-control policies and long-term development ones and integrate deepening reform and opening up and boosting scientific development to practically tackle in-depth and structural problems so as to boost the more large-scale and lasting development of Chinese economy.

More than 1500 persons including Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab, President of Iceland Olafur R. Grimsson, Prime Minister of Moldova Vladimir Filat, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Michael Thomas Somare, Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Zimbabwe Arthur Mutambara, Vice Prime Minister of Mongolia Miyegongbu Enkhbold, Vice Prime Minister of Bulgaria Симеон ДЯНКОВ and vice Prime Minister of Cambodia Keat Chhon as well as representatives from the political, business, academic and press circles from 88 countries and regions attended the meeting.
